STEETON progressed to the final of the Keighley FA Supplementary Cup at Oxenhope's expense.

Steeton took the lead from a ball over the top from Andy Howland which Casey Dowthwaite chased, confusion from the goalkeeper and centre-half allowed Dowthwaite to tap home for the opener.

With wind against Steeton, Oxenhope had the majority of the ball in the first period. Both teams battling in midfield with little chances created.

Oxenhope levelled with three minutes to go when a through-ball to the attacking midfielder beat the offside trap and slotted home.

Steeton started off brightly in the second-half, a bouncing ball in the box saw them awarded a penalty, which Andy Howland took and slotted home. 

Dowthwaite took the corner but didn't beat the first man, the ball back out to him and he then curled the ball over the keeper to make it 3-1.

Steeton failed to clear their lines and the defence switched off as Steeton defence to switch off and Oxenhope scored from 20 yards out.

Steeton were back on the attack down the right hand side, a great cross from Mark McGee beat everyone to make it 4-2.

Oxenhope kept piling on the pressure and Will Lee struck straight to the keeper's left to make it 4-3.

Oxenhope's keeper fluffed his kick straight to Will Knight who scored.

A last-minute long range strike from Greig Hudson sealed the victory for Steeton. Karl Wellard and Paul Quinlan were also on the scoresheet for Oxenhope.
