OLLIE Hunter hit six for Silsden Whitestar as they demolished Cowling 13-0 in their Keighley Cup semi-final.

The win sees them ease into next Thursday's final against Steeton.

Whitestar built up a comfortable 4-0 lead by the end of the first half and, with the win already in the bag, they ran riot in the second period.

Aside from man of the match Hunter's double hat-trick, there were braces for both Sam Stanfield and Rob Matthews. A goal apiece from Patryk Barylski, James Wilson and William Storrie ensured Silsden racked up a baker's dozen.

Whitestar will be hoping for a double celebration at the end of the season. As well as the Keighley Cup final on May 3, they are hoping to reel in Settle United to win the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven & District Premier Division.

Remarkably, their title push had stalled after they met Cowling the previous Wednesday, with the crucial league match ending in a dull 0-0 draw!

Crossflatts Village consolidated their promotion hopes in Bradford Sunday Alliance Championship with two away wins in four days, with recent signing Connor Erangey and Matty Morgan scoring in both games.

The championship side found themselves 2-0 down away at promotion rivals Wyke Wanderers on Thursday night.

Kevin Gill had a patched up side due to work commitments, injuries and suspensions, and things were looking ominous for him at 2-0 down.

But his troops did him proud and came back to win 3-2, thanks to goals from Jonny Dawkins, Connor Erangey, and an excellent 80th minute from substitute Matty Morgan, who had only been on the pitch for 10 minutes.

Flatts found things a bit easier on Sunday morning when they trounced Heaton Athletic 6-0, with the goals coming from Erangey, Matty Morgan (2), his brother Lewis Morgan, Colin Schofield, and an own goal.

Flatts can confirm promotion to the Championship on tomorrow night when they play away at Toller FC.

Meanwhile, Keighley Town beat Cullingworth Youth 5-0 in their Henry Nicholson Trophy semi-final.

Youth were without two of their midfield players and two of their players failed to turn up for the clash.

Both teams failed to score in the first period, but the second half saw Town dominate.

They found the net three times in a rampant 15-minute spell.

Youth, having named no substitutions, grew more tired as the game progressed and conceded two more goals to deservedly reach the final.

Town's goalscorers were Danny McHugh, John Dickinson, Mark Webster, Tom Baker and an own goal.
