Thackley u-18s 2 Silsden u-18s 3

Silsden's fourth win in their last six games put them in the top half of Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Divsion A with three games left – but they had to withstand a late Thackley fightback.

When Lawrence Green slammed in the Cobbydalers' third goal with 20 minutes left, the game looked won. It came after a first-half goal by Danny Hunt, following a fine solo run, and a bullet header from centre back Jake Lee at the back post from a corner in the second half.

But with 15 minutes left Thackley grabbed a lifeline from a penalty and soon afterwards made it 3-2 in a goalmouth scramble.

Three goal-saving tackles from Oli Whitham saved the day but it was keeper Mateusz Wasielewski who caught the eye with some assured saves, particularly in the first half.

Oxenhope u-18s 3 Myrtle Park u-18s 1

Oxenhope completed a league double over their Bingley opponents and took the lead on ten minutes when Lewis Hopkinson played an astute ball into Callum Holmes to fire in from a tight angle.

Late in the first half Callum Franklyn switched the ball to Joe Cutler to find the net from an acute angle. It now looked comfortable for the home side but in the second half Myrtle Park pulled one back on the hour. Oxenhope eventually made the points safe when Hopkinson, Tom Bradley and Holmes were involved in a one-touch passing movement that ended with Cutler bagging his second.

* Under-18 Division A leaders Steeton came from 1-0 down to win 7-2 at Menston with goals from Josh Ferguson (2), Jack Wrigglesworth (2), Lewis Robinson, Harry McGowan and Jonson Butterfield.

Salts u-15s 2 Sutton Rascals u-15s 3

Rascals went in front when Freddy Maddocks' cross was deflected into the net and they went 2-0 up when Callum Walker scored from the spot.

Cameron Webster made two great saves to preserve their lead by the break but Salts got a goal back minutes into the second half. Despite some strong defending from man of the match Ewan Bailey, the hosts levelled the match at 2-2.

Both keepers made some fine saves before Sutton got the winning goal – a free-kick from Toby Jeffery was headed home by Ben Clarkson.

Keighley Shamrocks u-14s 1 Burley Trojans u-14s 0

Goalkeeper Lucas Roberts was in superb form, tipping a brilliant free-kick just over his bar. Shortly after, he speared a great ball into Harry Farnell's path. Farnell nodded the ball over the advancing keeper only for the last defender to handball it on the line. The resultant penalty was despatched into the corner by Farnell.

Tom Broadbent and Dom Westcott produced some excellent work in midfield but Shammies were unable to increase their lead and it required great diligence from the defensive unit of Reece Hird, Joe Polignone, Zain Hussain and Max Pearson to keep Burley at bay.

This win gave Shammies their third consecutive league title as they clinched the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Division A crown.

Tom Ormerod and Harry Farnell worked a short corner which gave Farnell just the right angle to loop a fantastic shot above the keeper into the corner of the net.

Lucas Roberts put through an inch-perfect ball for Jack Hanson, who beat the last defender before calmly slotting in just before half-time. Dylan Murgatroyd won a strong tackle and the ball fell to Tom Ormerod, who let rip with a 25-yard swerver which went in just inside the post for an unbelievable goal.

Shammies capped off a fine team performance with a sweeping move involving Tom Boadbent, Fergus Turnbull and Dom Westcott that was slotted in at the far post by Keenan Potts.
