STEETON were put to the sword at Bilton, who romped to a 171-run win in Division One.

Batting first, the hosts amassed a commanding 304-8 as Ryan Bradshaw made 105.

Pick of the Steeton bowlers was Joe Stead, who nipped out both openers with the score on just 33 and finished with 3-61, with two catches for keeper Andrew Foulds. With a push for late runs, Bilton lost three wickets to run outs by Jon Best, Max Tomkinson and Steve Pearson but the Harrogate side's total proved far too big for Steeton.

They lost their top three batsmen with just 37 on the board. Chris Luxton (20) and James Freebury (23) steadied the collapse with a 37-run fourth-wicket partnership. But wickets continued to fall as Steeton were all out for 133 in 31.1 overs.

John Goldthorp (59no) and Jake Zslinzsky (49) led Pool’s successful chase of Harden’s 199-7 to keep their side in third place in Division Two. Mike O'Flaherty took 3-34 but Pool got home with six wickets to spare.

Isaac Murray (78) was top scorer for Harden, O'Flaherty also weighing in with 32 as Paul Quinlan made 38, with Dave Amos taking 4-56.

A half-century from Zabi Ullah (58) was the highlight of Silsden’s 149, Mark Bradley weighing in with 38, but Steve Phillips (62) led Hall Park’s successful run chase – by eight wickets – to notch their fourth win in a row.
