STUART Jackson proved an all-round star as Oxenhope maintained their promotion push from Division One of the Foster's Halifax League.

Firstly he made 35 in adding 80 for the first wicket with Darren Hopkinson (45) but only Lewis Hopkinson (25) and Liam Dyson (32no) contributed much after that as the innings faded to 190 all out, 28 of which were extras.

After tea, Nathan Storton and Jaz Jheeta took a couple of early wickets before Low Moor swiftly moved the total past 100.

A change of bowling then proved crucial, Duncan Tetley taking the pace off the ball to bag a wicket with his first delivery before Jackson finished off the tail in devastating fashion, taking 5-5 in six overs, including a hat-trick as the visitors subsided to 126 all out.

Oxenhope are third with 114 points, just seven behind Northowram Hedge Top (121), with Sowerby St Peters clear leaders on 141.

Cullingworth took a much-strengthened side to second-placed Old Crossleyans in Division Two, and produced a superb run chase to upset their hosts.

Crocs had made 261-7, opener Sehf Mahmood making 98 and Harry Reynolds 69 not out, Ben Burkill taking 3-59 off eight overs.

But Cullingworth were undaunted, Will (29) and Graham Rankin (83) adding 61 for the fourth wicket before Chris Welch (56) put on 74 with the latter for the fifth wicket as the visitors reached their target for the loss of eight wickets with two overs to spare.

Cullingworth are now equal third with Outlane on 114 points, behind Great Horton Park Chapel (132) and Old Crossleyans (122).

Tanweer Aslam (105no and 5-61) was an easy choice as man of the match as Denholme Clough won by 140 runs at Old Town.

Aslam, who hit 12 fours and four sixes, put on 172 with Shabir Hussain (71) for the third wicket, Mohammed Zhabair Yousaf weighing in with 41 in Clough's 277-9.

Zahoor Arif (4-42) proved a good foil for Aslam with the ball as Old Town were dismissed for 140.

Robin Cusdin (4-33), Brendan Ellison (35) and Eddie Jackson (34) were the key men for Oxenhope II's in their six-wicket win at ten-man Low Moor in Division Two.
