OXENHOPE stayed in the Fosters Halifax League Division One title race after rolling over Stones to record a 113-run win.

Batting first, Oxenhope struggled to a total of 228 with the key contributions coming from Liam Dyson (66) and Joe Ousey (55) as Pollard took 5-55.

Stones never really threatened the total after youngster Nathan Storton again impressed with three of the Stones top order for 32 runs in his six overs.

Stuart Jackson came to the party with three wickets before Dyson finished the tail off to wrap up the innings for 115.

Captain Craig Bartlett scored his second-successive hundred as Oxenhope IIs beat Shelf by 117 runs.

Fellow opener Brendan Ellison (30) and Luke Fleetwood (37) supported the big Kiwi as he cruised effortlessly to 133 which included 22 fours and three sixes as the home side posted 272-7 in their 45 overs.

Boardall (38) and Beaumont (32) rattled up some quick early runs for Shelf but the persistent Robin Cusdin made the breakthrough and went on to secure the full points for the title chasers with figures of 6-67.
