OXENHOPE suffered another defeat on a day when, in wet and windy conditions, it was remarkable that any result was possible.
The first innings was restricted to 30 overs but visitors Great Horton Park Chapel made the most of them, batting down the order to post a challenging but not impossible total of 173-9.
Two wickets each for Nathan Storton, Robin Cusdin and Tom Mawer, plus three for Scott Mallinson saw the wickets shared out.
A rain-interrupted reply was dominated by the Mawer brothers at the top of order. Tom grafted for a fine 50 to hold the innings together before Spencer delivered an aggressive 25no before running out of partners with the home side 133 all out thanks to the accurate bowling of Matthew Jordon (4-41) and Baber Yaqoob (6-65).
Oxenhope II's game was washed out.
