OAKWORTH Sharks continued their dominance of the Upper Airedale Junior Cricket Association's Under-11 Barritt-Stephenson Cup to triumph for a record seventh time.

They beat Earby by eight wickets in the final to gain revenge, having lost to them in the recent UAJCA Festival under-11s show-piece on the same ground.

Earby were limited to 63-6 as Sharks captain Lewis Brown took two wickets, including the key scalp of Earby skipper Adam Hodge with the first ball of match.

Brown played a real skipper's role as he also made 20no as the Sharks recaptured the Barritt-Stephenson Cup in their fourth consecutive final.

Man of the match was James Powell, who batted and bowled with style, taking two wickets and then making 22 runs as Oakworth reached 65-2 with 16 balls in hand.

Oakworth's squad was Charlie Raby, Louis Stephens, James Powell, Tom Rowell, Lewis Brown, Jacob Davies, Matt Spragg, Ben Hawkes, Oliver Ratcliffe, Jake Keslinke, Elis Jones and Taylor Hawkins.
