Steeton’ batsmen were in cavalier form in their rain-shortened game with Bilton. Oliver Gledhill set the tone as he blasted six sixes and three fours as he needed just 44 deliveries to top-score

with an exciting 59 in his side’s 217-9 against Bilton.

New skipper Gary Boulton was also in positive mode as he scored a quick-fire 33 runs from 33 deliveries with three sixes and two fours.

Bilton had scored 55-2 in 16 overs when the rain halted play. Both wickets to fall went to Callum Lowe (2-28).

It was a miserable day for Harden as they were skittled out for 55 as they suffered a six-wicket wicket defeat against Burley.

Lewis Morgan (6-19) ran through their fragile batting then former Keighley player Ian Frost made 36 not out as Burley romped home.

Silsden won a low-scoring game with Upper Wharfedale by six wickets. Nick Firth took 4-22 and Matt Shuttleworth (3-37) as Upper Wharfedale were bowled out for 113,

a score which owed much to 72 from Dave Eggleton.

Ethan Copping (30no), and Robert Jones (29) helped Silsden to their target for the loss of four wickets.
