SUTTON will be hoping their luck changes when they meet Bingley Congs in Sunday’s Wynn Cup final at Bradley.
This will be their 11th appearance in the final since 1928 and their only win was against Eastburn in 1947.
Bingley Congs currently top Craven League Division One and will start as favourites.
Their final record is played two, won two, which contrasts sharply with their Sutton’s.
For the south Craven side to succeed, they will need their attack of James McDonald and Richard Walker to get among the wickets against a Congs side looking to retain the trophy they won last season.
Sutton's batting is led by seasoned campaigner and skipper Craig Thornton, Ryan Ridehalgh, who returned from Ilkley at the start of the season, David Snowden and the youthful Sam Solley.
Bingley have a formidable pace attack in Matt Roberts and Harry Greenhalgh, who are backed up by the vast experience of skipper Adie Dibb and spinners Neil Copping and Mohammed Adil.
The Congs batting also has strength with Adil and the hard-hitting Copping, backed by Sam Porter, Danny Pearson and Andy Copping.
