STEETON look odds on to join all-but-relegated Kirkstall in the second tier of the Aire-Wharfe League next season after the Summerhill Lane side went down to Ilkley.

Josh Gill (5-67) and James Emmott (3-44) helped restrict Ilkley to 191 all out in 46 overs, with Rory Kroon (41) and Rob Spivey (39no) leading the way for the visitors after they had been put into bat.

But with Henry Wilson taking 4-20, Steeton were dismissed for just 113 despite the efforts of captain Stephen Pearson (45).

Harden invited visitors Illingworth to bat first as Daniel Murfet (95) helped them post 251 despite the impressive efforts of Matthew Hogg (8-70).

The hosts were never in the race in reply. Tom Cummins (37) and Matthew Topham (28) offered resistance but they were bowled out for 159 in 41 overs, Kieran Heaton (4-53) and man of the match Murfet (3-22) claiming the spoils.

There was more misery for Division Three side Silsden.

The Cobbydalers elected to bat at Bolton Villas but were dismissed for 81 in 26 overs.

Only Tom Greenwood (31no) offered stout resistance as Sam Lawrence (5-40) was chief destroyer.

Villas took only 14 overs to record a nine-wicket win.
