THIRD-placed Ossett had the key figure in Harvey Anderson as they defeated visitors Keighley in the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Championship A Division.
The experienced all-rounder took 5-38 as Keighley were dismissed for 131 before scoring 48 as Ossett won by five wickets.
Keighley’s score would have been a lot worse were it not for skipper Alex Towler scoring 40 at No 9, Andy Wear and Max Davidson having earlier each scored 22.
Towler then completed a fine day by taking 4-40 but it was too little, too late as Ossett won in just 29.2 overs.
In the second-team fixture at Lawkholme Lane, Keighley were the day’s quickest winners by nine wickets after rolling over Ossett for 46, Hammy Shahzad taking 3-22, Rory Robinson 2-4 and Dillon Birkett 2-12.
On Saturday, Keighley’s first team are at home to Hunslet Nelson, while the second team visit Bowling Old Lane.
