As the weather gradually begun to improve throughout the day, the excitement also developed in the Quaid-e-Azam League's Premier Section.

There was a nail-biter between Keighley RZM and White Rose, with RZM defending 211 after Hassan Javed took 4-28.

In reply, a marvellous effort by Zahid Nisar, who scored 118, left White Rose needing 16 off the last two overs, and took 13 from Ishtikhar Hussain's penultimate over, although he did take their ninth wicket.

That put the pressure on young Danish Hussain, who had the job of preventing White Rose from scoring three runs off the last over.

However, he was up to the task, conceding only one run, although RZM were lucky to survive and were indebted to Ishtikhar Hussain (41 and 5-22).

Yaqub Yousaf and Farrakh Alam piled up the runs for Kashmir Dewsbury against Darulshafa, with Yousaf making 92 and Alam 73 in their 282-9.

Darulshafa were then all out for 180, with Hanzaq Mir scoring 63 and Sulieman Saleem taking 4-43.

OnQ secured a four-wicket victory over Raja's, for whom  Waleed Anjum made 60 and Farhan Hussain 57 not out in their 184-7.

Iftikhar Nazir's blistering 71 not out propelled OnQ to 185-6.

My Lahore notched their second straight win to climb out of the relegation zone, chasing down struggling Heaton Park's 165-9 to win by four wickets, Manzar Naqvi scoring 44.

Bhalot Strikers maintained their joint top position by making it six wins out of six, defeating bottom side Flix by 35 runs in a low-scoring contest.

Strikers made 156, with Gurdev Singh taking 4-32, and Flix were all out for 121.

In Section A, Punjab have moved into second after chasing down Karmand’s 248-5, Abdul Aqeel hitting an unbeaten 59 to help Punjab cross the line with four wickets to spare.

Rising Stars' six-wicket victory over Bradford Moor lifted them to joint third.

Moor were all out for 125, with Mohammed Ijaz (4-20) and  Naseem Aslam (43) shining for Stars.

Shaheen have moved above Indus Ghari into seventh after beating them by eight wickets.

Indus Ghari were all out for 95, with Adeel Hafeez taking 4-32, while Binny Haider dominated the reply with 82 not out.

There was no joy, however, for basement boys Azad, who were all out for 111 (M Nazim 4-40) against Earlmarshall, who had made 221-3 (Don Bandula 57, Imran Zafar 54no).

At the top, Diamond made it six wins out of six, but were pushed hard by TABS, despite the latter being dismissed for 65 (Adam Zahid 4-5).

Diamond, who lead the table by six points, lost six wickets in reaching their modest target, with Palvindhar Kumar taking 4-35.

It's much tighter at the top of Section B, where four clubs are joint top with 30 points from six matches.

EAM made it a nap hand of successive victories after racking up 274-3, with Gohar Ayub (103no) and Adnan Ahmed (72no) adding to struggling Patriots' pain.

The latter were then castled for 85, and it was a similar story when joint leaders Bradford Royals defeated Chach.

Mustafa Idrees' 76 not out was the backbone of Royals' 217,

Waqar Ahmed taking 4-49, but Tokir Bashir replied with 5-21 as Chach were dismissed for 94.

Central Leeds also had a 120-run victory over Kings XI, Wajid Butt being among the runs with 57 for Central, who bowled out Kings for 152.

Kashmir Bradford, also joint leaders, maintained their fine form by defeating Green Stars by 48 runs, with the in-form Hamzah Iqbal making 66 out of Kashmir's 153 (Umar Hussain 5-22).

Green Stars were dismissed for 105, with Mohammed Fakhar taking 5-26.

Style, who are also up at the top, bounced back from their loss against Kashmir Bradford to defeat Yorkshire Lions by four wickets.

Lions made 209, thanks to Shafaqat Alam (69) and Rashid Mehmood (58).
