HARTSHEAD Moor may not be a one-man team but they surely missed their bowling spearhead Iain Wardlaw against Keighley in the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Championship Division Two.

Leaders Moor totalled 167-7 in their 50 overs, with opener Mohammad Khan making 47, taking his tally to 869 for the season, and Martin Ellis getting 30 not out as Matt Haines (2-47) and youngsters Owen Narey (2-41) and Dillon Birkett (2-26) proved economical.

That total always looked in reach without the Yorkshire and Scotland pace bowler to trouble them, and Keighley, who have climbed to sixth, got home by five wickets with 13 balls to spare, thanks to skipper Andy Wear (38), Louis Horsfield (30no) and Travis Nightingale (30).

Promotion-chasing Hunslet Nelson increased Brighouse's misery at the bottom by defeating them by five wickets with 3.2 overs to spare.

Mohammad Arshad top-scored with 33 for Brighouse in their 161, but he was outshone by wicket-keeper Harry Duke (58) and Andrew McIntosh (47) for Hunslet, despite the efforts of Raja Naqeeb (2-21 off ten).

Tosh Baker hit 117 against his former club Spen Victoria to help Buttershaw St Paul's to a ten-run victory in a high-scoring clash.

The ex-Northamptonshire player smacked 14 fours and four sixes in a 124-ball stay and added 98 with opener Kevin McDermott (54) and 106 with Ben Platt (31) in St Paul's' 271-8.

Seven players made 20 or over for Spen, but they fell just short, with Tom Loker making 49, Peter Jackson 44, Ollie Davison 38 and George Deegan 36 as McDermott took 4-31.

Will Smith (4-7) and Arman Hussain (3-26) helped Carlton to a three-wicket win over Idle, while Altofts captain Farrouk Alam (44) did likewise in the 38-run victory over Hopton Mills.
