KEIGHLEY have added more experience to their ranks by signing 32-year-old Adam Greenwood.

The all-rounder, who has spent 17 years playing senior cricket at Gomersal, joins his former Oxford Road team-mate Richard Gould and Keighley old boys Paul Quinlan and Johnny Wilkinson at Lawkholme Lane.

Greenwood will not only offer an experienced right-arm off-spin bowling option, but is also an aggressive left-handed batsman who can feature in the top five.

All-rounder Greenwood said: "Having spent so much time at one club, it was a tough decision to leave, but I have made a great choice in coming to Keighley.

"I am really looking forward to getting to grips with trying to win promotion from Championship Division Two.

"I feel we have recruited well and we have a good balance of youth and experience, and I am hopeful I will be a vital part of this team, both in the dressing room and on the pitch.

"I am looking forward to bowling more than I have previously and making the runs we require to hopefully win promotion.

"The winter nets have started well and we will be looking to start positively once April comes around."

Meanwhile, Keighley are still working hard behind the scenes in terms of recruitment and are hopeful of completing at least two more signings within the next month.
