Matches in the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League have now been called off for two successive weekends
HAVING postponed their opening-day matches until Saturday, September 22, the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League also called off games on the second weekend.
However, on this occasion the matches will not be replayed, with all of the teams receiving five points.
A league statement said: "Under Rule 11d of the BMSSCL, the executive have unanimously exercised their right to cancel all league fixtures for Saturday 28th April 2018 on the grounds of concern for player and officials safety.
"All teams will receive five points and the fixtures will NOT be rearranged."
The major issue has been that groundsmen have been unable to prepare the squares and the outfields due to the wet spring.
