The draw for the two Craven League cup competitions was made on Monday, with some interesting ties thrown up.

Wynn Cup holders Foulridge make the journey to Skipton CI, while runners-up Oakworth are at home to Wilsden.

One of the most intriguing ties sees Thornton entertain fellow Division One outfit Bingley Congs, winners of the trophy in 2009.

There will be a derby atmosphere at Bradley where neighbours Glusburn are the visitors.

Cullingworth entertain Pendle Forest, while Haworth, Barrowford and Cononley all have byes.

Cowling Cup holders Embsay II face a tricky tie at Barrowford II, whom they beat last season in a high-scoring semi-final.

Pre-season favourites Oakworth II face Haworth Road II at Cure Hill.

As in the senior competition, Cononley have a bye, along with Crossflatts II.

The grounds for the finals were chosen by the executive committee after the main meeting. From the nominations put forward, Gargrave was chosen to host the Wynn Cup and Denholme the Cowling Cup.

Dates for the cup competitions have been put back this year to avoid the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The Wynn Cup first round will be played on May 20, with following rounds on June 10, July 1, July 22 and August 12 (final). The Cowling Cup first round is on May 27, with later rounds on June 17, July 8, July 29 and August 19 (final).
