Division Six Harehills 12 Worth Village 6 A strong Harehills side went 12-0 up in a first half of few chances.

Village struck back after good work from Sean Hudson and Harry Burns put Liam Gillard over, with Sean Hudson adding the extras.

Despite good work from man of the match Rocky McNulty and captain Billy McKay, Village found it hard to break the Harehills line again and went in 12-6 down at the break.

And that was how the match finished despite Village going close through the impressive Sean Cole and Daz Gall.

Worth also almost scored in the last minute, with Paul Phillips putting Jason Dovestone away, only to be caught just short.

Village were well served in defence by Burns, Chris Parker and Steve Woodhead. Their forwards worked hard, with Noel Partridge, Nick Hird and Jake Feather putting in good stints, but Harehills claimed the spoils.
