Chris Melling's perfect cueing has helped Europe into a strong position in the Mosconi Cup.
Showing improved form from his first two matches, the Keighley potter defeated Brandon Shuff 5-2 last night as they took a 9-6 overnight lead against the United States at York Hall, Bethnal Green.
Europe thus need to win only two more matches when the contest resumes at 7.00 tonight.
