SUTTON'S Chris Brown helped Yorkshire win the regional round of the National Masters at the John Charles Centre of Sport in Leeds.
Brown claimed victory and maximum points for the team in his favoured event, the 50-metre backstroke.
The final points tally saw Yorkshire (235 points) finish clear of runners-up Cheshire (189), with the white rose side claiming 18 first-places.
Meanwhile, Keighley's James Lund was in a small group of City of Bradford Swimming Club members who took part in the prestigious Wigan Future Stars Meet at Wigan Life Centre.
Competing as a 15-year-old, James, who trains with the Bradford Aquatics Competition Programme, was fifth and sixth in the 200 metres breaststroke and 200m backstroke respectively.
