EAST Morton's James Crossley triumphed in the English Special Olympics Powerlifting Championships at the Dubrovnik Hotel in Bradford.
He won the junior section in the 59kg triple male competition, equalling the best squat lift and increasing the best dead and total lifts.
Senior lifter Chris Woodhead, from Haworth, had a 257.5kg total in the same weight class.
The pair have been picked to represent the UK in the World Special Olympics in America next summer.
Bradford's Israr Abbass won the seniors triple combination in the 66kg class with a 185kg total.
This year’s competition was once again organised by Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure .
The next powerlifting competition is in Dundee on Saturday, February 28.
