OAKBANK Table Tennis Club's Ffion Myers has been selected to play for Yorkshire Under-18s at Widnes on Saturday.
The 16-year-old has continued to impress, reaching the quarter-finals in the high-quality Stockton 4 Star Junior Open in the Under-18 girls singles.
Oakbank club mate Isebella Crooks, aged just 10, also reached the quarter-finals in the Under-12 girls singles.
Meanwhile, her coach Hans Soova was presented by the Yorkshire Table Tennis Association with L E Forrest Memorial Award for 50 years of outstanding service to table tennis in Yorkshire.
