KEIGHLEY'S Jacob Snowdon was among the leading riders at Bradford & District Motor Club's ACU/Oset B, C & D Trials Championship at Howden Wood, Silsden.

Billy Green (Beta) won the event as the top four riders detached themselves from the rest of the field, with MRS Sherco rider Daniel Slack second, Bexhill on Sea Sherco rider Oliver Smith third and local ace Snowdon fourth.

Snowdon maintained a 25 penalty buffer over Dublin's Adam Harris.

The surprise packet in the Class C standard wheels was Jamie Galloway, who produced a sterling result five marks down on Jack Dance.

Harry Hemingway took charge of Class C medium wheels from Harry Turner and a distant Dominic Horne.

Also competing on an Oset 24, Long Lee's Myles Hutchinson really made the machine work and headed Charlie Crossland by 45 penalties. Lucy Ayrton rode non-competitive to finish a mere one mark behind Crossland.

The close result emerged from Class D Small wheels where Froston's Toby Shaw headed George Hemingway by four penalties. Jasper Fox and Stanley Cubbon finished a distant third and fourth.

Clerk of Course Richard Taylor opted for a two-course layout, keeping Class B up under the north boundary wall sections.

Class D medium wheels: 1 Myles Hutchinson (Oset) 108, 2 Charlie Crossland (Beta) 153, 3 Alfie-Ray Turner (Beta) 153.

Class D small wheels: 1 Toby Shaw (Oset) 44, 2 George Hemingway (Oset) 48, 3 Jasper Fox (Oset) 71.
