AIREDALE Hockey Club held their last training session of 2016 in festive style.
Players from the men’s, ladies and youth teams gathered together to participate in a Santas versus Elves match.
The turnout was so great that a third team had to be created. These were dubbed ‘The Satsumas’ due to their attire of orange bibs.
The fancy dress and high competition made for an evening of comedy moments. The scores in the rolling games were often evenly matched but in the end it was the Elves who emerged victorious.
