LIAM McNicol and Lee Tscherniga caused an upset by beating world ladies championship semi-finalist Rebecca Kenna and Ash Kenna to win the Cross Hills & District Snooker League doubles final 3-2.
Rebecca, whose surname used to be Granger before recently getting married, has risen to sixth in the world following an impressive season.
But in a great game at Steeton, she and her husband were pipped to the doubles silverware as Tscherniga scored his highest ever break of 37 and McNicol knocked in a couple of 20s.
