KEIGHLEY Golf Club have won the Bradford Union's Second Division Team Championship for the second successive year.

Liam Blacka, Keith Knight, Ritchie McPike and Chris Naylor successfully defended their title at West Bradford, having also won the prestigious crown in 2016.

They pipped Northcliffe by three shots in the competition for golfers with handicaps between 10 and 18.

McPike led the way with a gross 79, with Knight (86), Blacka (87) and Naylor (90) all contributing to their winning total of 342.

Meanwhile, Richard Merrills won the club's Srixon Amateur Championship Qualifier with a ten under par nett 61, which put him top of the national leaderboard.

A place at Rockliffe Hall in the Grand Final is on offer for the top 20 in the country.
