NEAR-perfect conditions greeted the riders for Wednesday evening’s ten-mile Bronte Wheelers-Neophix TT on the Cracoe to Skipton and back course.
Professional rider Steve Lampier, of JLT Condor, fresh from his Tour de Yorkshire ride, broke the course record with a blistering time of 20min 17secs to shave ten seconds from the previous time.
Course personal bests were plentiful and in second place was host club rider Steve Ayers in a time of 21min 05secs.
Third was Pendle Forest’s Paul Braithwaite in a time of 22min 29secs.
Fastest junior and fifth overall was Alex Ridehalgh, riding for Spokes racing team in a time of 23min 34 secs.
