KEIGHLEY'S Sophia Basaraba was City of Bradford's sole gold-medal winner in a small squad that was sent to the prestigious City of Sheffield No Frills Long Course Meet.
Twelve-year-old Sophia Basaraba stormed to victory in the girls' 200 metres backstroke in a time of 2min 34.28sec.
Her sister Natalia was among those who contributed to the club's 25 top-ten placings at a meet where they also won five silver medals and a bronze and broke five club records.
The club works alongside Bradford Council's Aquatic Competition programme to deliver sessions for adults and youngsters seven days a week.
