BRONTE Wheelers riders were out in force in last Sundays 25-mile time trial promoted by Cleveland Couriers.
Conditions were far from ideal with a strong southerly wind making the outward leg towards Dishforth particularly difficult, however this did not blunt the speed of Bronte’s Steve Ayers who won the event in a fantastic time of 50min 54secs almost averaging 30mph.
Steve was backed up by fellow Bronte riders Steve Lloyd in 58min 04secs and Darren Caines in 59min 41secs a great team effort.
