COUGARS officially opened the Danny Jones Stand during Sunday’s home against promotion rivals Oldham.
The club renamed the main stand in honour of their popular playmaker following his passing last month.
Jones’ widow Lizzie and his six-month-old twins Bobby and Phoebe officially opened the stand, which has signed placards in the shape of the stand-off’s jersey.
It was a poignant moment and Paul March’s side fittingly marked the occasion with a hard-earned 32-24 success.
