WORLD snooker champion Stuart Bingham is helping to boost the Danny Jones Memorial Fund.

Bingham, who defeated Shaun Murphy 18-15 in the final at The Crucible in May, will play an exhibition evening against 12 amateur players and businessmen at the Threeways Sports Centre in Ovenden, Halifax on Saturday, September 26 (7.30pm).

Afterwards there will be a display of trick shots by Keighley professional Chris Melling, and all proceeds from the evening will go to the fund for the former Keighley Cougars player, who died of a cardiac arrest in May during a match at London Skolars.

Tickets for the exhibition are limited to 500, with general seating at £20 and VIP seating at £35, which includes prime seats and a signed picture with Stuart and the world championship trophy.

Seven of the individual frames are being sold on behalf of the fund, and further information, including sponsorship packages and bulk-purchase packages, are available from info@mjksportsevents.co.uk.
