KEIGHLEY Cougars have been drawn away to League 1 rivals York City Knights in the Challenge Cup fourth round on the weekend of March 19-20.

Paul March – York's player-coach between 2008 and 2009 – has been in charge at Keighley since the end of 2012, hanging up his playing boots last year.

Having been back to Huntington Stadium with both Hunslet and Keighley, the 36-year-old is now looking forward to another return to the Minster city.

March said of the tie: "We could have got a nicer draw but it's good going back over there – especially to Bootham Crescent and the nice, wide field and decent surface.

"York have had some good results and James Ford has recruited well, so it will be a challenge but it's one we'll be looking forward to."

Asked who would be favourites, March added: "It's a level playing field and both sides will be contending the league. Whoever turns up on the day with the right attitude will win the game."

There are five all-Championship ties with Bradford Bulls travelling to Dewsbury Rams in arguably the stand-out fixture of the round.

Featherstone Lions and Castleford Lock Lane guarantee amateur representation in the fifth round, where they could face a Super League club.

The pair will meet in round four, with 2015's top-flight bottom four joining at the next stage.

Fellow amateurs and National Conference League side Pilkington Recs host Championship side Halifax and Cumbrian outfit Kells are away to Oldham.

Fax's near neighbours Siddal go to League One Rochdale Hornets.
