KEIGHLEY Cougars will begin their Super Eights campaign with a trip to Doncaster on Sunday, July 30.
The Cougars lost on their visit to South Yorkshire earlier this season and the fifth-placed Dons will provide Craig Lingard’s side with a tough opener prior to two challenging home games.
York City Knights, whose coach James Ford reported a number of Keighley players to the disciplinary panel following their victory earlier this month, return to Cougar Park on August 6 while the following Sunday (August 13) sees red-hot promotion favourites Toronto Wolfpack back in town.
Keighley came close to inflicting the Wolfpack’s first defeat in March and will be looking to go that step further prior to a tough trip north to second-placed Whitehaven on August 20.
Following a break for the Challenge Cup final, the Cougars visit Newcastle on September 3 before returning for their final home game against Workington Town on September 10.
Lingard’s side then finish the campaign on Sunday, September 17 as they make a fourth trip of the season to Barrow.
Cougars finished the regular season in seventh place and are now looking to overturn the five-point deficit between them and fifth-place as they bid to seal a top-five play-off spot.
