GARY Moorby is organising a players reunion in a show of support for former Cougars skipper Phil Stephenson, who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Moorby was head coach at Keighley when they won the National League Two Grand Final in 2003 – a season in which Stephenson was highly influential.
The popular prop played a starring role in the Sky-televised show piece as Cougars beat Sheffield Eagles 13-11.
Moorby is planning a get-together of players from that season when league leaders Toronto Wolfpack are the visitors to Cougar Park on Sunday, August 13 (3pm kick-off).
The invite is not limited to that team, however, with Moorby keen to see as many people as possible turn up.
He said: "We are also inviting any former player, official or supporter who knows Phil to come along and join us at the game in a show of support for Phil."
