COUGARS have teamed up with O’Neills Sportswear as their new kit supplier for the next two seasons.

The Irish company is synonymous with the production of team kits, footballs and hurling balls for Gaelic games but is fast becoming a major supplier to rugby and football clubs across Ireland, the UK and further afield.

And the deal sees a link-up with former Cougars player Dave Larder, who is now an area sales manager for O'Neills.

He said: “We are looking forward to working with the Cougars over the next couple of years and hope the supporters are looking forward to the new range that will be introduced into the club in December.

“This will include new lines that will be introduced throughout the season to fall in line with the spring and summer months.

"I have fond memories of my time as a player at the club and I am looking forward to working with the Cougar faithful once again.

“In addition to some products being stocked at Cougar Park, O'Neills will also have several other items which will be made available via the club’s online store at www.oneills.com.”

Cougars chairman Gary Fawcett said: "O’Neills kit is of the highest quality and, coupled with their excellent service and two new very exciting kit designs, we are expecting our fans all be fully attired in 2018 colours very early on in the season.”
