COUGARS head coach Craig Lingard makes one change to the side that bowed out of the Challenge Cup as they prepare to travel to Newcastle Thunder on Sunday.

The change is enforced, with Liam Senior having to sit this one out due to a back injury. Lewis Fairhurst comes in to replace him.

Josh Lynam is set to serve the final game of his suspension for punching. Should this fixture be postponed (Newcastle are planning a pitch inspection tomorrow), he will instead be missing for next weekend's local derby against Bradford Bulls.

Cameron Leeming and Dan Parker are suffering from knee and hand injuries respectively and, with the two needing to undergo surgery, they face up to two or three months on the sidelines.

Trae O'Sullivan's concussion is still causing him headaches, meaning he is unavailable. The Kingston Park game comes too soon for Davey Dixon as well, the winger having only just come back from the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Bulls squad: Ritchie Hawkyard, Andy Gabriel, Hamish Barnes, Adam Ryder, Matty Beharrell, Scott Law, Nathan Conroy, Brendon Rawlins, Mike Emmett, Joe Lumb, Ryan Wright, Harvey Hallas, Josh Tonks, Matthew Bailey, Lewis Fairhurst, Benn Hardcastle, Samir Tahraoui, Harry Aaronson, Brad Nicholson.
