TWO Keighley Cougars players have been suspended by the RFL Disciplinary Panel.
Matty Beharrell and Nathan Conroy have both been suspended over separate incidents in their side's 54-6 defeat to Bradford Bulls earlier this month.
Half-back Beharrell has been handed a two-match penalty notice, after being charged with a Grade C Dangerous Throw for the tip tackle that saw him sin-binned in the fifth minute of the Bulls clash.
The disciplinary panel ruled he had breached Rule – 15.1(d) Dangerous throw – Lifting player into a dangerous position for the challenge on Elliot Minchella.
He will be unavailable for the upcoming away games against York City Knights and Hunslet RL.
Meanwhile, Conroy will miss this Sunday's York game. He has been given a one-match penalty notice after he was charged with Grade B Dangerous Contact for a challenge on Ethan Ryan in the 43rd minute of the Bradford defeat.
Conroy was ruled to have breached rule Rule – 15.1(i) Dangerous Contact – Defender uses any part of his body to forcefully twist, bend or otherwise apply pressure to the limb or limbs of an opposing player in a way that involves an unacceptable risk to injury to that player.
