BRADNET

Here at Bradnet we recognise that there are many barriers that people with disabilities face in living an independent life. These can vary from physical obstacles, to experiencing a lack of opportunity and poverty. We endeavour to provide support, advice and assistance to all our service users to enable them to lead as full a life as possible.

Independent Living Service

We support people to achieve independence by enabling them to have greater choice and control of their lives through person-centred support. Bradnet understands that you may face many challenges that are individual to you, from getting out of bed and bathing, to participating in leisure and social activities.

Outreach Services

To tackle these issues, Bradnet are working in conjunction with Bradford Council to encourage and support the young people of Bradford and district to join and engage in after school and holiday clubs. As a volunteer at YES (Youth Engagement Service), you will be involved in the SIP (Social Inclusion Project) to help provide that valuable support to enable young people aged 8-18 living with disabilities to access, and be involved with fun and exciting groups!

short breaks service

The short breaks service is ran in partnership with the Special Inclusion Project at Bradfor Council. We offer 3 hours of weekly support for young people aged under 18. This service allows a young person to access a social activity in the communtiy and also allows family members, parents and carers to carry out domestic tasks, personal duties or just have some free time for themsleves or to spend with other family members.

Areas served: Bradford.
