Scotland's winless run continued as they lost 13-6 to Italy in Saturday's RBS Six Nations in Rome to finish with the wooden spoon.
Giovambattista Venditti scored the only try of the game in the 43rd minute to hand Italy coach Jacques Brunel his first win since taking over the Azzurri earlier this year.
The scores were level at 3-3 at half-time after Greig Laidlaw cancelled out Mirco Bergamasco's early penalty.
Kristopher Burton converted the extra points after Venditti's try had put the Azzurri in front.
Laidlaw cut the gap to 10-6 with 20 minutes remaining but Burton's drop-kick three minutes from time condemned Scotland to their seventh straight defeat.
