MARSTON Terry Loving husband of the late Margaret (nee Nunweek), father of Andrew, Helen and Jonathan, father-in-law to Judy, cherished grandad to Lucy and Zenn sadly closed his eyes for the final time on September 27, 2019 at Eccleshare Court, Lincoln aged 78 years. He was a true gentleman, compassionate and kind and will be sorely missed. Funeral service at St.Michael's Church, South Hykeham, Lincoln at 11.30am Thursday October 24, 2019, followed by cremation at Lincoln Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations appreciated to Acorn Villages Ltd Reg Charity 263954.

Dear Helen and family -- You may remember meeting me in June 1994 when I came from America to Lincolnshire to visit your dad and mum before meeting my parents in London for the 50th anniversary of D Day. Late last night, I awakened from a dream about my visit to your parents' home, so I Googled to see if I could find your father. Heartbreaking to see that Terry passed just a few weeks ago. I deeply regret not staying in touch with your family, especially after your dad reached out to tell me of Margaret's passing. She taught me how to bake Yorkshire puddings. Terry was such a funny fellow, calling me and singing "Wichita Lineman." My life got very complicated after my parents' passing, as I too have a brother with disabilities. Too many years distracted by the urgent and neglecting the important. My prayers go out to you and your brothers. Blessings to you! michael.wwebb@yahoo.
