HOLMES Dorothy Eileen (nee Palmer) Peacefully on November 28, 2019, Dorothy aged 94 years. Born in London, she was evacuated to Colne, Lancashire during World War 2, where she lived for many years of her life before moving to Oxenhope. She was the beloved wife of the late Sydney Holmes and predeceased by her first husband Walton Dean and their son Brian. She is survived by her sister Patricia Bugeja, sons Terence (Annette) and Raymond (Carole), daughter Sheila (Gerry Durham), five grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Tuesday December 10, at 10:45am. Will family and friends please assemble at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only please but donations would be appreciated to Airedale General Hospital, Ward 6. A box will be provided at the service for this purpose or may be made online at www.david-gallagher.co.uk.
