CARROLL Patricia Joan (nee Atkin) On April 22, 2020 sadly but peacefully at Airedale General Hospital after a brave prolonged fight for life. Patricia (Pat) aged 75 of Haworth. Adored wife and partner of Philip, dearly loved sister of Roberta, devoted aunt of Jennifer and James and much loved cousin of Christopher, Rowena and Louise and their families. Pat was former Chairman of the Upper Wharfedale Heritage Group Secretary of the Keighley Scout Service Team and Radio Officer of Northern Scout Communications and the Aire Valley Radio Team providing safety & medical communications cover on motor sports. Pat was a former Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer during her 39 years of devoted service in Pathology Departments of the Keighley Victoria, St Luke's in Bradford and Airedale General Hospitals. Pat was a very capable, talented and competent person with many skills who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. To the devoted staff of Wards 13and 19 at AGH are given very grateful thanks for their kindness and wonderful care and attention. Due to the circumstances a private cremation will take place on Tuesday May 12 but a celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date.
