COOKSON Godfrey Redvers Winifred, Chris and Tim would like to thank everybody who attended the lovely Service of Thanksgiving, last Tuesday at St. Mary's. They would like to thank Canon Tony Walker and Rev Gareth Howles for such a lovely service and their prayers over recent months and all their visits to see Godfrey, both in hospital and at home. Their thanks also to the choir and the organist. They would especially like to thank Worth Valley Carers for the special way they cared for Godfrey and also to the doctors and nurses at Airedale General Hospital, the Ophthalmology Department at Bradford Royal Infirmary, the District Nurses and the Marie Curie Nurses, along with all the staff of Holycroft Surgery, that expertly and compassionately looked after Godfrey making his last weeks and days dignified and comfortable. To the many family, friends, neighbours and well wishers, who sent cards, flowers and prayers, thank you and thank you, too, for your support over the last 9 months. Thank you to David Gallagher and staff for the sensitive, professional and caring way they handled the funeral arrangements.
