ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

DICK LANE BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1037) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Dick Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Dick Lane from its junction with Nottingham Street to a point outside Thornbury Primary School.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Dick Lane (unaffected section), Gipsy Street, Leeds Road, Laisterdyke New Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect between 8:00 hours until 12:30 hours on 30th June 2019 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 20th day of June 2019
