Notice under Article 13 of the Town &
Country Planning (Development
Management Procedure) Order 2015,
Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed
Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act
1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed
Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.
Craven District Council has received the following
applications that are required to be advertised it under the
above legislation for the reasons stated.
Application No: 2019/20718/VAR. Proposal: Application
to vary condition no. 2 of planning approval referenced
63/2011/11683 and condition no.1 of planning approval
referenced 63/2016/17155 to allow the portakabins to
remain on the school site and be used for teaching
(resubmission of previously refused application
referenced 2019/20449/VAR) for Ermysteds Grammar
School. Location: Ermysteds Grammar School Gargrave
Road Skipton Reason(s): Affects the character and
appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of
a Listed Building.
Application No: 2019/20694/FUL. Proposal: Installation
of a 220m long, 1.8m high metal fence to the north and
north-west perimeter of the school for Mr Alan Wooley.
Location: Ermysteds Grammar School Gargrave Road
Skipton BD23 1PL Reason(s): Affects the character and
appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of
a Listed Building.
Application No: 2019/20736/VAR. Proposal: Application
for removal/variation of condition numbers 2 and 10 of
application reference number: 2018/19736/MMA granted
01 March 2019 for Yorkshire Housing. Location: Land To
The South Of Burnside Crescent Skipton BD23 2BJ
Reason(s): Does not accord with the provisions of the
development plan in force in the area in which the land to
which the application relates is situated. Is a Major
Development proposal.
Application No: 2019/20737/VAR. Proposal: Application
for variation of condition numbers 2 and 16 of application
reference number: 2018/19754/MMA for Yorkshire
Housing. Location: Land To The South Of Burnside
Crescent Skipton Reason(s): Does not accord with the
provisions of the development plan in force in the area in
which the land to which the application relates is situated.
Is a Major Development proposal.
Application No: 2019/20743/FUL. Proposal: Single
detached dwelling, garage and stables, associated
landscaping and new vehicle access for Mr Adam Carr.
Location: Land Off Mill Lane Low Bentham LA2 7DF
Reason(s): Does not accord with the provisions of the
development plan in force in the area in which the land to
which the application relates is situated. Would affect the
route of a public right of way.
Application No: 2019/20734/FUL. Proposal: Creation of
a concrete base and the installation of a wooden storage
shed for Ingleton Rural Community Association. Location:
Ingleborough Community Centre Main Street Ingleton LA6
3HG Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of
a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2019/20766/AGRRES. Proposal:
Conversion of existing agricultural barn to 1 No. dwelling
(Prior Notification). Re-submission of 2019/20550/
AGRRES for Mr Temp Moran. Location: Cross Gates
Laithe Pikeber Farm Wigglesworth BD23 4RH Reason(s):
Would affect the route of a public right of way.
Application No: 2019/20752/HH. Proposal: Removal
of existing skylight with installation of 2 velux windows for
Mr Michael Mulley. Location: 28 Main Street Farnhill
BD20 9BJ Reason(s): Affects the character and
appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2019/20756/HH. Proposal: Demolition
of existing conservatory and carport. Erection of single
storey sun lounge and carport at rear for Ms Jill Crossley
& Mr Ian Gates. Location: Old Manor House The Green
Clapham Lancaster LA2 8EH Reason(s): Affects the
character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
The applications are available to view and for comment
online at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/onlineapplications
or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square,
Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.
Representations can also be sent in writing to
Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton
Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 22nd
August 2019. All comments received will be available
for public inspection and will be viewable on the
internet along with the application details. However,
we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone
numbers and email addresses from appearing on the
comments published on the internet.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning
permission for a householder (HH) application, that is
considered on the basis of representations in writing. Any
representations made will be sent to the Secretary of
State and there will be no further opportunity to comment
at the appeal stage.
Decisions are normally made within eight weeks (11 to 13
weeks for major planning applications). Details of the
decision will not automatically be sent to those that have
