CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (RESTRICTED ROADS) (NO. 1) ORDER 2019 THORNTON ROAD IN THORNTON AND ALLERTON AND KINGS
ROAD IN BOLTON AND UNDERCLIFFE
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 26 November 2019 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is that the following lengths of roads shall be restricted roads (30 mph speed limit) for the purposes of section 81 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: Kings Road, Bolton and Undercliffe - from a point 24 metres north of its junction with the centre line of Brisbane Avenue to its junction with Canal Road;and
Thornton Road, Allerton and Thornton - from a point 450 meters north east of its junction with Brighouse Road (A644) in a north easterly direction to its junction with Albion Place.
The Order revokes all previous Orders that relate to the above lengths of roads and conflict with the provisions of this Order. It comes into force on 29 November 2019 and a copy of the Order together with maps showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 26 November 2019) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
