ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BRUNTHWAITE BRIDGE LANE, SILSDEN TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1134) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of re-decking of bridge works to be executed on or near Brunthwaite Bridge Lane, Silsden has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Brunthwaite Bridge Lane from a point on the bridge over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal for approximately 10 metres in a north easterly and for approximately 10 metres in a south westerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Brunthwaite Bridge Lane (unaffected section), Hainsworth Road, Belton Road, Keighley Road, Kirkgate, Howden Road, Holden Lane and vice versa. The Order comes into operation at 07:00 hours on 30th March 2020 and remains in force until 17:00 hours on 8th April 2020 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
