ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL COCKIN LANE, CLAYTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Cockin Lane, Clayton has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Cockin Lane from its junction with Bridleway 479 (Bradford Northern) to its junction with Low Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Cockin Lane (unaffected section), Lane Side, Low Lane, Pitt Lane, Brighouse and Denhome Road, Albert Road, Sandbeds, Scarlet Heights, Baldwin Lane, The Avenue, Town End Road, Low Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on effect at 19:00 hours on 17th September 2021 until 05:00 hours on 20th September 2021 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
