Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Bradley Fold Rd, Radcldjfe) Temporary Closure Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

Bradley Fold Rd, Radcliffe - from its junction with Bury & Bolton Rd/Bury New Rd for a distance of 135 metres in a northerly direction (to No. 242 Bradley Fold Rd) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate gas works. The alternative route will be via Bury & Bolton Rd, Starling Rd, Cockey Moor Rd and Church St and vice-versa.

The Order comes into operation on Monday 09 May 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 3 weeks.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

The reason for the proposed order is to enable the replacement of manhole frame and
cover.
The diversion route will be along Hilton Lane, Bury New Rd, Moor Lane and vice versa.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Burrs Close/Brandlesholme Rd, Bury) Temporary No Left Turn And No Right Turns Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
1) No left turn from Brandlesholme Rd into Burrs Close

2) No right turn from Brandleshlme Rd into Burrs Close

3) No right turn from Burrs Close into Brandlesholme Rd

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate sewer investigation & de-silting works.
The alternative route will be via Brandlesholme Rd, Holme Ave & Garside Hey Rd The Order comes into operation on Wednesday 11 May 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 day.

Un-named Access Rd Leading to Rose Court Nursing Home, Radcliffe (off Water St) - both sides from the northerly kerbline of Water St for the remainder of the adopted highway in a northerly direction (approx. 14m)
A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 06/05/22 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke St, Bury BL9 0EJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 06/05/22 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
