THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 008 BLACKROD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.17) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on the 2nd February 2016 which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No. 008 Blackrod commencing from a point to the south west of Aspinall Way, Horwich; point A at grid reference SD 364107 409585 in a generally west-south westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 363540 409391 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Bla008 over a total distance of approximately 616 metres.

An alternative route is available commencing from public footpath Blackrod 010; point A at grid reference SD

364107 409585, then Blackrod 009, Bolton 288, Bolton 290, Bolton 293, Bolton 295, Bolton 296; point B at grid reference SD 363540 409391 as shown bythe blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1Bla008. The Order is necessary to facilitate core railway engineering works and will continue for 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 2nd February 2016

BRADSHAW SOUTH)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.18) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on the 6th February 2017 which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No. 048 Turton Bradshaw South commencing approximately 178m from Longsight Lane from point A at grid reference SD 373783 411063 in a generally north westerly by westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 373668 411083 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1TBS048 over a total distance of approximately 130 metres. An alternative route is available commencing from public footpath Turton Bradshaw South 048, point A at grid reference SD 373783 411063; public footpath Turton Bradshaw South 041 (Longsight Lane) then public footpath Turton Bradshaw South 043 to point B at grid reference SD 373668 411083 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1TBS048. The Order is necessary to facilitate essential bridge refurbishment works and will continue for 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
